What makes your style stand out?

My style is a love letter to all things kitschy and campy! I find a lot of inspiration from different types of media, mainly film and animation. I love collecting vintage clothing especially. Retro styles really speak to me. I definitely wouldn’t consider myself to be a minimalist. More color, more patterns, more accessories, makes my heart happy! I feel the most myself when dressing in extremes; the teeniest of mini skirts, the biggest brightest buttons, and boldest colors keep me exploring!

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would definitely be something character driven. The big screen has always heavily influenced and inspired fashion culture. Iconic fashion is forever immortalized in our favorite movies. I love how wardrobe takes the way a character is portrayed to a whole new level. I also love press tour looks that are inspired by the aesthetics of the movie the actors are promoting. I deeply appreciate films with strong aesthetic principles. Filmmakers, let me dress your characters!

What would you do with $20,000?

For me, $20,000 would be life changing. If I were granted $20,000, I would further my education, as well as invest in some equipment to bring my visions to life. I would also give back to my community by renting space for clothing swap events, which I have been hosting for the past few years. Community events that are free, such as clothing swaps, are an important resource for us all to benefit from! I would love to further develop a platform for these communal events, and support local artists!
