Fashion has always been what keeps my soul alive.Love being able to make and wear vibrant clothes that express authenticity.
What makes your style stand out?
Growing up in such a colorful country like Bolivia has always inspired how I dress, I am a mix of the chaos, noise & rebellious mindset of the city I come from, the music I love, the memories of the people I love and I turn all of that into maximalist and absurdist fashion. Being an immigrant makes one hold onto nostalgia & feelings so tightly, that translates into my style, I love mixing patterns, textures, vintage silhouettes and prints, I need to wear and carry the things my heart holds onto.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be being able to wear and show my clothing creations on a magazine and to Fashion week, being able to show people who are different and who don’t always fit in that being authentic and having fun is way more important than conforming to fit in.
What would you do with $20,000?
Last year I started my clothing brand called Clown Vomit, a maximalist slow fashion brand. I would use the money to invest in manufacturing my garments because up till now I was the only one sewing everything, and that lead me to develop carpal tunnel. This money would help me be able to start selling my clothes online and really launch my brand.
