I’m 47 and after I got sick, I was so upset that they didn’t have cute. Ostomy bag covers, so I started making my own.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because there’s no one else like me. I am the original ostomy fashionista. I’ve always loved fashion because it lets me express who I am now I can express who I am with my clothes and my bag covers. Disabled women are gorgeous.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would just to be in a magazine. I just want pretty pictures and I want to show the rest of the world that you can have an ostomy and you can rock that ostomy. It keeps me alive and I love to show her off. Miss Lilith. I even had her name tattooed on me with a pair of pointe shoes (I danced for 25 years).
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 I would start my own charity program. I have a masters degree in mental health counseling, but I can’t work anymore, but I know how the system works. I would love to give ostomy bag covers to people for free. I would do that if I won this. I would also donate ostomy supplies throughout the entire planet. That’s what I would do.
