What makes your style stand out?
My style is timelessly international, built on black foundations, with the occasional island girl twist and unafraid to push fashion forward. On Maui I stand out as the person who doesn’t just throw on a bikini and slippers and calls it a day.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I have been watching and attending smaller fashion week shows for years, starting off as a high fashion model on a small island with almost no high fashion. My dream fashion moment is to be recognized in a high fashion environment, to finally have all my hard work pay off.
What would you do with $20,000?
With the prize money I would take my parents to a fashion week so they can finally see their small island girl daughter under the big lights. And with any leftover, I would use to be able to rent a separate studio space instead of working out of my small apartment house so I can finally start creating the fashion editorials of my dreams.
