Style is my voice without words. It reflects my roots, my journey, and the story I'm writing of myself. That's what fuels my passion.
We would like to thank you for supporting Bishal Karki in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it’s rooted in authenticity. I don’t just follow trends; I interpret them through my own lens. I mix influences from my culture, personal experiences, and evolving identity to create something that feels timeless yet individual. It’s not just about clothes but intention, storytelling, and presence.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be walking for a global brand that values individuality and representation. it would symbolize possibility for others who’ve never seen themselves reflected in that space.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would use it to support the communities and causes that shaped my sense of purpose. I’d direct it toward the people and organizations doing the real work the ones helping children, women, and families who grew up without the safety, support, or resources they deserve. My plan is straightforward: UNRWA RAINN MATW Local NYC/NJ/Nepal community programs To me, $20,000 isn’t prize money but a responsibility. It’s a chance to take the platform I’ve been given and use it to help.
