My style is explorative, sometimes androgynous. Intertwining colors and pieces from the African diaspora with modern, clean lines.
What makes your style stand out?
My style has been described as “one that announces itself without needing me to”. This has been described as such because I have a reserved, shy personality but my style is edgy and can be a conversation starter so I’d say my style stands out because it does all my talking for me. It is aspirational and a form with which I use to step out of my comfort zone.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to be dressed up in the most elaborate themed outfit to attend the MET Gala.
What would you do with $20,000?
As a Software Engineer, it has been a dream to build/design technology that integrates engineering with fashion. I have a design prototype that I’m working on, that I’m excited to put out into the world. This money will give me more capital and resources to build this technology.
