What makes your style stand out?

Everything in my closet is thrifted or vintage, I take huge inspiration from Ai Yazawa the legendary mangaka where she intertwined fashion with her storytelling. I love maximalist fashion and clothes that provides shape to your style. I would say my style is intwertwiming my interests in art such as Shoujo manga where they are about coming to life stories of women in their early adulthood navigating life.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment is attending one of the iconic fashion weeks, I would love to have a big boots, big glasses, big skirt moment while I attend. I would also like to change up my current style and support small businesses with statement pieces (shirts mainly). I am also obsessed with Cop Copine and would like to buy this one shop on Etsy's entire catalogue because Cop Copine's style and expressive pieces really has caught my eye.

What would you do with $20,000?

I have been wanting to get into my creative output more with fashion illustration and use this money to attend school for illustration to pursue my dreams. The icons such as René Gruau and Antonio Lopez captivated the 20th century with their expressive and gesture fashion drawings, I would love to bring that creative output back intertwining fashion with art as it has not been as popular as it used to be. I would use the award money to pursue my dreams in fashion illustration :)
