Style can tell a story about a person without them saying a single word. It’s a way of seeing a persons experience and perspective of life.

What makes your style stand out?

What makes my style stand out is that I take little elements from my Japanese, Kenyan, and Atlanta cultures that are a huge part of who I am. I like to mix that with a more 2000’s look that reflects the era I was born in and the style that I looked up to growing up. I’ve always been a free spirited person, and the little girl that hated being told what to do, so I tend to add a little twist of boho in every outfit. My style reflects all parts of who I am.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be when I have a career to help people also reflect all parts of who they are in their clothes, so that they can feel comfortable and confident with who they are. I go to SCAD and I’m hoping with everything that I learned I can somehow contribute good into the world in my own way one person at a time.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I’m being honest, there’s a lot of things $20,000 can be put into. School loans is definitely the first thing that came to mind. I could also travel to go see my grandmother who inspired my fashion dreams. I could even jump start my styling business or do a fashion show that combines the music and fashion scene like I’ve always wanted to do. Which ever path I take, I’d make sure it’s put into something beneficial.
