What makes your style stand out?
By focusing on the 1940s-1970s for inspiration for my style, I am able to bring the timeless fashion of the ‘40s-‘50s with the bold colors and unique silhouettes of the ‘60s and ‘70s. I love being able to create a style that is uniquely my own yet calls back to yesteryear. My style allows me upcycle and reuse beloved clothes to give it a new life in an era where fast fashion is dominant.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
Being able to showcase the beauty of vintage clothing that spans across the 1940s-1970s while interweaving my Filipino American heritage into my pieces.
What would you do with $20,000?
With the $20,000 I would focus on Asian American and LGBTQIA+ education in Las Vegas and donate $10,000 to the Asian American studies department At UNLV and the LGBTQIA+ Center of Southern Nevada while the other $10,000 will be going to further my studies post bachelors. I believe that education shines through style and I want to give back to the communities who supported me for years.
