Style, for me, is not surface—it’s resistance, poetry, and freedom stitched into fabric, a way to rewrite who we are and who we dream to be.
We would like to thank you for supporting Auronda Scalera in this years competition. Your participation allows us to empower the Elton John AIDS Foundation in their mission to end AIDS for everyone, everywhere.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because it blends art curation and storytelling. I treat each outfit like an artwork, mixing bold statement pieces with timeless staples. I love playing with contrasts in texture and color, but always anchor the look with one personal element that carries meaning. It’s this balance of harmony, surprise, and authenticity that makes my style uniquely mine
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be to merge art and couture in an immersive setting — imagine a runway unfolding inside a museum installation, where each look is both garment and artwork. Models would move through a space as lively sculptures transformed by light, sound, and technology, blurring the lines between fashion, performance, and contemporary art. A living exhibition where style becomes experience.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would invest in empowering artists from the Global South by expanding my platform that connects art, technology, and sustainability. I’d create opportunities for emerging voices to be seen globally, while supporting environmentally conscious practices in fashion and art. For me, it’s fueling a movement where creativity and responsibility walk hand in hand.
