What makes your style stand out?
My style grew out of a need to feel safe in my own skin. I chase good textures like cotton, wool, leather—things that give visual and tactile softness. Most of what I wear has been altered by hand; I like when you can see the seams. Soft tones with rough shapes. I like every piece to be functional, imperfect, lived in, and loved.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be getting to make or style something for an artist I look up to. I love the idea of helping someone express themselves through what they wear. It would mean a lot to see my work on someone whose art already inspires me.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d use the money to turn my small-scale clothing work into a real studio setup. I’d focus on sensory-friendly, gender-neutral designs made by hand. Better tools and materials would help me keep making pieces that feel like home to the people who wear them.
