What makes your style stand out?

The belief that more is more...but in an edited way. I want to feel confident in what I am wearing, but also feel the freedom to play with different pieces and have fun. Being able to be a chameleon is what I love most...one day I can have a look that is strong and statement, with the next day as something more feminine and soft...there are no rules and I love that. Also, I am a lover of a good ring stack and believe that jewelry and accessories can make any look more polished and unique.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

Attending fashion shows and visiting ateliers where the magic happens. As an event/wedding planner and a studio artist, my favorite places are not the polished storefronts (although those are lovely too), it is where the ideas are born and the imagination is brought to life. I love warehouses, studios, workshops...anywhere that someone is creating. In my heart of hearts, I would love to begin and build my own fashion brand.

What would you do with $20,000?

I live in a 1912 brick Arts & Crafts home in the heart of Detroit and my husband and I are bringing it back to life one room at a time. We are in the middle of bringing our master closet to life, building it with modern functionality, but designing it with the cabinetry and fixtures of the period of our home. I love my clothing and accessories, but I also want to take care of the pieces I have and give them a good home. I would use the money to finish this project and create my dream closet.
