My style is a culmination of experiences. I live by originality, filling my closet with clothes that tell a story. Having moved through identities and cultures, I’ve learned style isn’t just about beautiful clothes, but embodying the self. As a trans woman, I embrace femininity and androgyny, balancing yin and yang. Influenced by designers and personal references, my style exists to highlight my character—complex, abstract, and meant to pleasantly challenge the eye.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment would be speaking with today’s designers about how and why they envision the modern woman as they do. Gaining insight into how the brightest minds brainstorm, communicate value, and express personality through clothes would shape my own approach. Experiencing a makeover to embody their perspective would be surreal—a once-in-a-lifetime chance to live fashion through their eyes.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’ve always been a creative, and $20,000 would let me explore two paths: designing or blogging. I’d invest in building the foundations of my dream career—funding resources and vendors to bring my ideas to life—or put it toward masterclasses, mentoring, events, travel, and internships to grow, network, and establish myself as a creative.
