Expressing my style changed everything—now I wear clothes my way and help others feel confident and sexy in theirs too.
What makes your style stand out?
My style stands out because I intentionally challenge conventional norms of clothing. I often reimagine garments—wearing pieces backwards, styling a skirt as a dress, or choosing oversized clothing—not only as a creative choice but also as a way to adapt to my body's natural fluctuations. Living with body dysmorphia, fashion has become a tool for me to confront and redefine the mental boundaries I’ve built around self-image. The positive feedback I receive is energizing and deeply affirming.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is seeing all bodies and identities represented—especially in big industries like Free People, where I work. I rarely see models who look like me. Movement is for everyone, and fashion should reflect that. I want to show how my body—curving, bloating, moving—is still worthy of love and style. I challenge my insecurities daily and aim to help others feel confident by loudly saying: we are all bad bitches.
What would you do with $20,000?
I’d use part of the $20,000 to support struggling queer artists with financial needs, donate to aid efforts in Palestine, and give to local and Southern animal shelters—honoring where I rescued my dog. The rest would help sustain my fashion and art career, allowing me to focus on my creative work without needing to juggle multiple jobs.
