The ability to embody maximalism while using clothes and accessories that are accessible, stylish, or made by my closest friends.
What makes your style stand out?
I find that I enjoy wearing the same pieces in every single way I can. Backwards shirts, collared button down skirts, bolero styled blazers, and many more ways. This makes my closet feel intentional and keeps the style ruts fr creeping in. There is such beauty in sustainable fashion and I love to represent the myriad of vintage thrift stores I am a regular at by demonstrating how versatile I see their antiquated pieces.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
I absolutely LOVE costume changes. To show up to the MET in one outfit and then leave hours later, recognizably in a new outfit that is an entirely different vibe. I would have a red carpet walk for each outfit and show off each of my personalities. I dream to inspire people to keep a few statement pieces on hand so they can transform and exhibit all the different sides of themselves no matter the time limit or event.
What would you do with $20,000?
I strive to make my mothers fashion dreams come true by replacing some of her loved on fashion supplies with runway caliber tools and take her on a shopping spree at Mood Fabrics, aka her ToysRus. If it wasn’t for her handmaking me clothes from love all my life, I wouldn’t be here. She’s had to put fashion to the side to tend to our family the last 3 years and she deserves the stress alleviated so she can focus on her clothing line once again. The rest is a deposit for a 1 bedroom APT in LA.
