What makes your style stand out?
I create a fusion with my style as I am inspired by music, nature, architecture, literature, culture, costuming, history, fashion designers and creators; the list goes on. I love dressing for a theme and bringing joy and entertainment to those around me. I enjoy truly styling outfits. Transforming pieces I own into new looks. I have a passion for vintage clothing and small businesses and am always striving for sustainability. I also design/sew many looks featured here, and enjoy costuming.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
A dream fashion moment would be to attend Fashion Week and the shows. I would love to be in a space with so much palpable creativity and beauty. Attendees, designers, and models alike, all there for the art of fashion. To participate in honoring fashion and looking forward to the seasons to come would be truly inspiring. Any city would be a dream.... an even bigger dream would be to attend the Big Four.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 l could really begin to pursue my creative projects more seriously. I could delve into more creative fashion projects/sewing featuring photography and videography; another passion of mine aside from being a nurse practitioner. I would love to use the money to support so many of the small business I have come across over the years, highlighting what amazing artisans and designers they are. Focusing on slowing down and sustainability is important to me.
