What makes your style stand out?
Hi I’m Toto, like the dog 🐕!! I have lost 200 pounds in the past 4 years. Cycling through different sizes and wardrobes. Expressing myself has healed me as the weight loss surgery I had ended up making me very sick. I have been recovering and now that I’m back, I want to be me. The most I can. Being too sick to work I have been developing my art and music and style to one day hopefully bring awareness to issues young queer creatives go through, but also strength in art during trauma :)
What’s your dream fashion moment?
In history? Alexander McQueens tortured yet divine creations. A queer genius lost to a world that won’t understand, I have a warmth towards him and his story. If I were to have a dream in fashion, it would be a single magazine cover honestly!! A space where I can utilize my stylistic perspective and artistic intentions <3 I have a lot to say, so any platform to yap is a luxury I long to afford one day 😩
What would you do with $20,000?
I have decided through the past year in medical hell, that I want to delve into philanthropy. Even in awareness itself, the impact of a single voice explaining what challenges they face can change a persons life. I want to focus my efforts on poverty in the queer community, funding for creatives, medical systemic failure, opioid crisis, mental health awareness. If I can do one thing with my life it’s being heard at all. One chance can change everything, and I’ll take what I can get ^_^
