my styles stands out because it’s a amalgamation of all my life experiences, all the cultures i’ve lived alongside, every artistic medium I’ve digested and consumed throughout my life is pulled and put into my styles day to day. so it’s personal. singular 2 only me. it’s magnetic.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
my dream fashion moment is to work, help, or even walk for masion margiela. margiela is my favorite house & designer. learning the history during covid made me love fashion all over again and is why I keep dressing the way I do and prioritize the garments in a loving manner in which I do and is a source for my experimentalist approach to fashion. I’d also want my mom there. she is the reason why I even know what styling and fashion is. she is my fashion inspiration. she taught me everything.
What would you do with $20,000?
If I win the 20,000 I’d give half immediately to my parents just out of appreciation for raising me into the person I am, I owe them everything. and with the other half I’d save 5 grand and with the remaining I’d put it into my art. I’d keep creating and pushing boundaries now that I have a budget and a wider reach & I’d use that reach to spotlight minority communities and subcultures that contribute to fashion but isn’t appreciated by the greater public.
