Style for me is the first form of communication. It's my way of expressing my authenticity by balancing cultural roots with a modern twist.
What makes your style stand out?
Is that with History woven in it, it never misses. It's an instinct, a language inherited early in Lagos, shaped by my father's quiet craftsmanship and the limitations of what was available. Out of scarcity,creativity was born. I began making my own pieces,learning that style isn't about luxury alone but proper presentation of identity into pieces,silhouette and forms.
What’s your dream fashion moment?
My dream fashion moment is the walk after my first runway show for a global audience — that surreal realization that it’s all happening right before my eyes. A moment of quiet awe, knowing I have become what I once envisioned.
What would you do with $20,000?
With $20,000 I will be able to build a small style and design studio hub that allows conceptual visualization,style modernization while maintaining identity that encourages a creative process and community. The goal is to produce a limited capsule collection that embodies cross-cultural craftsmanship while strengthening local creative economies. This grant would help me scale a sustainable system where heritage fuels modern entrepreneurship and African designs stands confidently on a global stag
