Aasma

My mom taught me to make sure my outfit spoke before I did. I use styling as form of expression: peace to chic & chaos to art.

What makes your style stand out?

I believe as much as it’s about WHAT you wear, it’s more so about WHO & HOW one wears it. Confidence, is what stands out in my style. I just don’t wear clothes, I treat them as an extension on ny being & breathe life into them. Each piece becomes part of my aura & they create unforgettable moment for me.

What’s your dream fashion moment?

My dream fashion moment would be something timeless & iconic, where fashion meets art - front row at NY fashion week, draped in couture which feels like art in motion & the flash of camera captures not just an outfit, but a legacy.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, I would dedicate it to raising awareness & research of AIDS through Elton John AIDS foundation - because true style isn’t just about what we wear, it’s about the impact we create. I would also use portion of it to invest in experiences & pieces that multiply in value - curating a wardrobe of timeless pieces, supporting emerging designers, & funding opportunities that let me shine in my craft. I agree when they say, fashion may fade, but compassion, impact & legacy is forever.
